Looking Pretty

Remember our post about reusing? Well, we have finally finished one of those projects.  Sadly, it is the least exciting one.....Jill's big girl stool.


We just cleaned the stool really well, did a little sanding, primed and then added two coats of the paint we used on our kitchen door.

PS, don't you love how nice our cutting boards look right next to the door?  How 'bout it Erica?! ;)


Alright, so here is the before and after (really who doesn't love a good before and after?!)

Again, nothing really exciting....but it sure is amazing what a coat (or 3) of paint can do!

And, since we seem to love teasers....here is another piece of furniture that has been added to the list.  Jill got this adorable little table at a yard sale for free!  It will likely be red (aka using the leftover paint from our front door) the next time you see it! :)
