Eric’s Mom told us this recently and well frankly, it describes us pretty well.
We love to have a good time and laugh at silly, childish things. We think the fact that we are pretty easy going also allows us to rather easily be described as "being like kids."
Yet, just to clarify, we are infact grown-ups and very independent (in almost the same breathe Eric’s Mom also told us that).
Anyhow, we think that nothing shows the little kids inside us better than our bathroom. Remember the BRIGHT blue one that we mentioned quite a few weeks back?
Remember how we said "Also, this may become the best seat in the house....."
Well, we hope you now agree with us that it is pretty swell.
Here is our playground of a bathroom:
Starting with the "artwork wall." Check out that awesome photograph that Eric took! The lighting here doesn't do this photograph justice, but the blue water is a very similar blue to the walls. Also, check out the orange-shaped soap dispenser! (and yes the soap is orange-scented!)
You will also notice the amazing bumper stickers that made it on the artwork wall. We have a pretty fun collection of bumper stickers and thought this could be a fun place to display them. Afterall, there isn't much to do while sitting on the toilet other than read these fun stickers.....or wait.....
Maybe there is something better to do....yup, that's right, there we have a lego mat and a basket of legos for some fantastic entertainment! (PS the rule is that playing occurs before wiping!!!! what a big ewww otherwise).
Oh another fun thing to check out, that black trash can to the left of the toilet is actually a paint can!!! Yeah, we had a few of those left over and have used them for waste cans throughout the house.
Do you have any good childish ways?

I love your bathroom! I can only imagine what will happen in there between the Legos and the Play-Dough. Oh my.
ReplyDeleteMy bathroom is bright and colorful too. The shower hooks are fun little monsters and the cup-holder and floor mat are monsters too. Oh and the toothbrush holder is an elephant because I lurve them. It makes me happy, even on weekday mornings when I don't want to get up and get ready!
Great work on your fun and lively bathroom :)
PS - Glad to see a little bit of York made it to the bumper sticker art!
